The GeoLocat App collects location data to enable its core functionality:
- Your Current GPS Location: Used to capture client coordinates when you update a client's location
- Client Location Data: GPS coordinates (latitude/longitude) that you submit for client addresses
Why We Need Location Data: To accurately record client delivery locations, enable route optimization for deliveries, and verify and update client address coordinates.

3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information for the following purposes:

Your employer or the company using the FleetKPI system has access to:

6. Data Retention and Deletion
6.1 How Long We Keep Your Data
- Account Data: Retained while your account is active
- Location Data: Retained for business operations and as required by your employer
- Usage Logs: Retained for up to 12 months for security and troubleshooting
- After Deletion Request: Data is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or your employer's policies
6.2 How to Request Data Deletion
You can request deletion of your personal data by:

- Include: Your full name, email address associated with your account, and Employee/User ID
Response Time: We will acknowledge your request within 48 hours and complete the deletion within 30 days. You will receive confirmation once your data has been deleted.

Upon a verified deletion request, we will delete:
- Your personal account information (name, email, phone)
- Your login credentials
- Your usage activity logs
- Device information associated with your account
Note: Client location data you submitted may be retained by your employer as part of their business records, as this data belongs to your organization. Contact your employer for deletion of organizational data.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access: Request a copy of your personal data
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data (see Section 6.2 for instructions)
- Portability: Request your data in a portable format
- Withdraw Consent: Stop using the App and request account deletion at any time

8. Location Permissions
8.1 Why We Need Location Access
The App requires location permission to:
- Capture your current GPS coordinates when updating client locations
- Ensure accurate client address data
8.2 Your Control
- You can enable/disable location permissions in your device settings
- Note: Disabling location will prevent you from updating client GPS coordinates
8.3 When Location Is Accessed
- Only when you actively use the App to update a client's location
- The App does not track your location in the background
9. Children's Privacy
The GeoLocat App is intended for adult users only (18 years and older). We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 years of age. If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information immediately.
10. Third-Party Services
The App uses the following third-party services:
- Google Maps: For map display and location services (Google Privacy Policy)
